HjerneTryg Alliance – en fælles indsats for at øge viden om stroke

Hvert år rammes 12.000 danskere af stroke – også kendt som en hjerneblødning eller blodprop i hjernen. Stroke kan i mange tilfælde forebygges. Mange genkender dog ikke de hyppigste symptomer på stroke, og kommer for sent i akut behandling.
Hjernesagen vil med kommunale, regionale og civilsamfundsaktører gå sammen i en fælles Alliance for at forebygge stroke, styrke kendskabet til symptomer og sikre rettidig behandling – særligt blandt sårbare og udsatte borgere.
Målet er styrke ligheden i forebyggelse og behandling af stroke samt mindske antallet af strokes i Danmark for at reducere personlige og samfundsmæssige omkostninger.
